Stroyan Steadings, Perthshire

SF Structures worked alongside Dualchas Architects from initial survey to final completion of this steading conversion in Perthshire. Prior to renovation the steading was a largely unheated space used mostly as a workshop and storage. The refurbished building now offers a heated boot room and drying area alongside a vast, flexible socialising space with kitchen and dining area.

Key structural inputs included new openings to the existing stone walls, roof strengthening, stone and timber repairs. The crafting quality throughout the build is evident in the photographs below. An exceptional space.
