Skinner Ground

A combination of modern and traditional building materials were utilised to construct these flexible, open plan work spaces at Broughton Hall Estate.  SF Structures designed a steel frame to sit discreetly within the Architectural finishes resulting in a clean, contemporary interior.  Enhanced plywood sheeting replaced standard steel bracing at roof level helping to reduce costs and minimise material use.  Solid Oak columns were introduced around the edges of the courtyard offering a more traditional solution to supporting the low level roof structures.  Externally, both zinc cladding and timber shingles were installed to further embrace the buildings modern traditional feel.
