Senior  Structural Technician

Richard studied Sport and Exercise Science at Abertay University and later undertook Civil Engineering studies at Heriot-Watt University. He has over twelve years of experience working within structural and multi-disciplinary engineering consultancies.

During that time he has worked across residential development, domestic, industrial and infrastructure projects, supporting engineers, architects and contractors through the design and construction stages. His work focuses on the production of clear, coordinated drawing packages and the use of BIM-based workflows within structural design.

Alongside his technical work, Richard has spent significant time on site, giving him a practical perspective on how projects develop from early design through to construction.

Outside the office, Richard is a qualified PGA Professional and continues to play competitive golf.
