Rattar House
Following a fire in the 1970’s Rattar House lay unoccupied for over forty years. We worked with the client, architect and contracting team to breathe new life into this beautiful, listed building. The structure was stripped back to the stone walls before a new roof was constructed over a sympathetically reworked interior using traditional materials and craftsmanship. The building was also extended to the rear with a contemporary, steel structure offering a large socialising space supported on a series of feature inclined columns. The new winding stair being the epitome of strength and elegance that echoes throughout this house.
