One and a half storey lean-on extension to an existing stone villa in the conservation area of Newhaven.  The open plan ground floor offers spectacular views from front to back and on to the sea whilst the upper, triple pitched roof provides spacious, yet private accommodation.  A timber frame structure was designed to maximise internal space and permit construction right up to the site boundary.  Upstairs a concealed, light weight steel frame was designed to support the hipped roof and frame out the large rooflight.​
