Louis graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2022 with an MEng in Structural Engineering with Architecture. During his studies, he completed a thesis research project investigating the reuse of structural components in modular housing as a means of reducing embodied carbon.

​

He began his career at Allan Corfield Structures as a Graduate Structural Engineer, working on bespoke self-build residential projects across the UK. During his time there, Louis developed his design skills across a range of Modern Methods of Construction projects, collaborating closely with architects and contractors to deliver timber kit, SIPs and ICF developments.

​

In 2026, Louis joined SF Structures, where he works on a broad range of residential and commercial projects. He brings experience in sustainable design and modern construction techniques and is currently working towards professional chartership with the IStructE.

​

In his spare time, Louis continues to represent Edinburgh University AFC in the East of Scotland Football League as one of the team’s alumni players. He enjoys making the most of his dual French nationality, spending time with his family in the Basque country.
